Our Classic Romania Tour is crafted to help you explore the most stunning landmarks our country has to offer. The 8-day cultural tour of Romania begins with a Bucharest tour, where you will visit the city's most important attractions in terms of historical and cultural importance. You will then step into the region of Transylvania to explore the medieval cities of Sibiu and Brasov, visit the medieval castles in the region (Peles Castle and Dracula's Castle), explore the Saxon heritage and take a cultural tour of the UNESCO Fortified Churches (Biertan and Viscri) as well as a walking tour of Cluj-Napoca. You will then head to the welcoming region of Maramures, where you will sample some of the authentic Romanian life in the countryside and take a sightseeing tour of the local landmarks, such as The Merry Cemetery. After touring Maramures, your tour of Transylvania will take you to more of its cities and settlements, such as Sighisoara and Sinaia, before heading back to Bucharest for your departure.
